An organization dedicated to improving the lives of orphaned children in Ivory Coast
Our History
LA MAIN DU CŒUR NGO was born from a divine revelation. Its founder SAKI CHRISTINE focused on God's merciful heart. She unites with God's Heart to reach out to orphans based on biblical principles of "Let the little children come to Him" and "Share your bread with the hungry and bring the homeless poor into your house."
Created on December 17, 2023 in Ivory Coast, with headquarters in Abidjan, LA MAIN DU CŒUR NGO is a non-profit organization that works for orphaned children, the destitute, the disadvantaged, and street children aged 0 to 18 years, particularly to improve their living conditions and well-being.
The Context
Many Ivorian children face enormous socio-economic difficulties. The vast majority of the 1.1 million orphans grow up without any support, struggling to survive as street children in the country's urban centers, begging for food and money.
The actions and activities of LA MAIN DU CŒUR NGO are intended for children living throughout Ivory Coast, including in remote areas, who need assistance and/or support due to their precarious conditions.
Our Vision
To promote a real contribution to the improvement of well-being, health, and living conditions; to respond to emergency situations, problems, and difficulties of orphans, the destitute, the disadvantaged, and street children aged 0 to 18 years through:
A space for exchange
Psychological and spiritual care for children
A bridge of mutual aid
Construction of orphanages and social structures for children's education
Training and information
Training and informing both our target population and the staff and volunteers of LA MAIN DU CŒUR NGO to better manage their mental health and care
Our vision concludes with the aim of significantly reducing child poverty and converting these children to Christ.
